This 80 minute workshop will give participants the opportunity to dig into Climate Generation's Next Generation Climate curricula resource. Next Generation Climate is a six lesson, interdisciplinary, middle school climate change curriculum that allows students to investigate the cause of the global temperature change, research the major repercussions of climate change, and find out how they can monitor and minimize those repercussions. Next Generation Climate allows students to dive deep into graphs and practice the skills of argumentation and engineering design. This curriculum uses the Next Generation Science Standards as a framework.

Participants can download their own copy of Next Generation Climate for free ahead of time if they would like to have it at www.climategen.org/ngc.
