In the words of U.N. scientists, the climate crisis is an emergency that requires “unprecedented changes in all aspects of society.” For educators, this means it is not enough for our students to teach about the science or impacts of climate change. This mixer brings the diverse and beautiful stories of the climate justice movement to our classrooms so that students can see themselves as activists capable of creating the change that so often feels out of reach.
