Do your students ask you about flat earth? How about bird drones? Are conspiracy theories draining the critical thinking out of the minds of your students? Don’t sweat it! In this session we will explore a concrete framework in which to safely explore misinformation with your students, FLICC. Inoculation theory can be easily adapted to the classroom to combat misinformation of any kind in any topic. Today more than ever, we need to equip our students with the skills and resilience they need to navigate digital life wisely. FLICC climate change misinformation right out of your student’s minds!
